Meet Colleen

Young girl sitting on the floor at an auditorium, holding a bassoon and smiling at the camera. She is wearing a pink striped shirt, and there are chairs and musical equipment around her.

I wasn't an athlete growing up — I was a musician and a big nerd. My idea of a fun Friday night was practicing my bassoon and singing along with “The Phantom of the Opera” soundtrack in my room.

My dad started patiently taking me running with him when I was about 11, and I found that it was an amazing way to decompress and feel good in my own skin.

As the miles increased, I discovered how good it feels to move my body! I trained for a marathon. I learned to swing dance. A Body Pump class gave me courage to find my way into the weight room. After recovering from having 3 babies, I found that obstacle course racing helped me feel strong and capable again. My love of fitness and teaching inspired me to pursue NASM certification so I could pass this gift on to others!

By day, I'm a music teacher with 20 years in the classroom, which means I know how to break complicated things into steps that actually make sense. As a working mom, I know how to create effective workouts that fit into my busy life.

If you want to feel strong, move without pain, and have the energy to show up fully for everything that matters to you, I can help you get there!
